A cabaret style evening that took an affectionate look at many of the musical styles and genre's to grace stages over the last 100 years. We started off with a glimpse of burlesque and vaudeville, then a quick trip through the days of jazz and blues, then the big band era, to rock and roll, folk, the swinging sixties and right up to the present day.
Audiences explored the extravaganza that was and is musical entertainment as PRIMA's unique arrangements took them on a magical, humorous and sometimes startling journey through time.
There was plenty of diversity for patrons to sink their teeth into - not to mention the delicious meal. As the whole season was in fact, sold out before opening night it would appear the word is spreading that PRIMA are regularly dishing up some high quality entertainment and a great night out.
If you peeked through the windows on one particular night you might have wondered what was going on in the darkened Holy Spirit Hall. A little power failure was a minor hiccup in our biggest Cabaret to date, and the audiences cheered loudest for the cast that kept right on singing - with only a drum accompaniment!
