Viva Oz! (Nov/Dec 2004)

 PRIMA's second theatre restaurant continued to raise the bar for musical theatre in the Pine Rivers Shire.

 Viva Oz! had a distinctly Australian flavour. The show consisted of three brackets: songs by Australians; songs from shows performed in Australia; and songs by artists who have toured Australia. Numbers such as "The Circle Of Life" from "The Lion King" (in 8 part harmony) and "I Still Call Australia Home" entertained and delighted our audiences as we performed to sell-out crowds. 

Unfortunately, due to a break-in at Act 1 Theatre during the week before the show was to open, much of our sound equipment was stolen, but the show must go on! New sound equipment was begged and borrowed and we were ready to stage the opening night production of Viva Oz! on schedule.
